Rockstar’s current GTA VI pages list PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. They do not list a PC edition, release date, store page or hardware specification.

The current official position

Every active launch and pre-order source from Rockstar identifies PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PC is absent from the supported platform list.

The accurate headline is therefore not that a PC version is cancelled or delayed. It is simply that Rockstar has not announced one.

Why historical patterns are not confirmation

Previous Rockstar release schedules can inform expectations, but they cannot establish a date for a different game. Development plans, technical work and commercial timing can change between releases.

Any PC launch window calculated from an older title should be labeled as a forecast, never as news.

What would count as confirmation

A Rockstar Newswire announcement, an official GTA VI platform page, a verified Rockstar storefront listing or formal investor communication could confirm the platform. Retailer placeholders and social media screenshots do not meet that standard.

System requirements should be treated the same way. No legitimate minimum or recommended specification exists until Rockstar publishes it.

How Vicefile will update this page

We will add a dated source link and replace the status at the top only when an official channel changes. Until then, the page remains intentionally short and direct.

That approach avoids producing a new speculative article every time an old quote or store database entry returns to social feeds.
