Jason Duval

Jason grew up around scams and crime, then joined the Army while trying to move beyond a difficult adolescence. He later ended up in the Leonida Keys working for local drug runners.

Rockstar frames him as someone who wants life to become easier but repeatedly finds himself pulled into harder situations. Meeting Lucia may offer an exit or create the largest risk of his life.

Lucia Caminos

Lucia learned to fight early and says protecting her family eventually landed her in Leonida Penitentiary. After getting out, she intends to replace impulsive moves with a deliberate plan.

Her mother once imagined a better life during their time in Liberty City. Lucia shares that ambition but plans to pursue it through action rather than waiting for circumstances to improve.

Why the partnership matters

The official material describes both characters through pressure, loyalty and the search for control. Jason is uncertain whether the relationship will save or ruin him. Lucia sees a life with Jason as a possible way forward.

That creates a different dramatic engine from a loose crew of interchangeable protagonists. Decisions can carry both criminal and personal consequences because the central partnership is also the emotional stake.

The surrounding network

Rockstar has also introduced Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista and Brian Heder. Their profiles connect the protagonists to smuggling, music, nightlife, robberies and the wider economy of Leonida.
